The 2020 Iowa high school state softball tournament continued Tuesday in Fort Dodge with 10 more quarterfinal games across three classes.

Tuesday's state softball scores
CLASS 3A QUARTERFINALS
No. 2 Davenport Assumption 15, No. 15 Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley 0 (3 innings)
Assumption (20-5) scored 10 runs in the second inning after a five-run first to quickly put away BHRV (14-3).
Leadoff hitter Maddie Loken was 2-for-2 with a single, walk and second-inning grand slam and totaled five RBIs. Gracie Jeyvak added four RBIs, hitting two singles. Every Assumption player in the lineup scored at least once.
No. 3 Williamsburg 3, No. 6 Algona 1
Williamsburg pitcher Peyton Driscoll allowed just one hit (Kameryn Etherington's sixth-inning home run) as the Raiders (24-4) moved on to the semifinals.
Williamsburg took the lead in the third when Aubray Walters led off with a triple and scored on Charley Geguzis bunt single. Geguzis stole second, advanced to third on a wild pitch and scored on Jill Holub's groundout. Megan Lamparek added an RBI double in the fourth.

CLASS 2A QUARTERFINALS
No. 1 North Linn 10, Ridge View 0 (5 innings)
Abby Flanagan didn't allow a hit in five innings and hit a solo home run as defending state champion North Linn (24-0) cruised to the semifinals.
The Lynx scored in every inning and had 13 hits. Hannah Bridgewater was 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Kaitlyn Sommerfelt went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs. Ridge View finished 11-9.

No. 4 Northeast 5, No. 6 Central Springs 4
Neveah Hildebrandt hit a walk-off single to score Paige Holst and send Northeast (20-2) to the Class 2A semifinals. Hildebrandt was 3-for-3 with a solo home run.
Northeast's Audrey Morris tied the score at 4-4 in the fourth with a solo shot. Abigayle Angell hit a two-run homer to give Central Springs (17-4) a 4-2 lead in the third.
No. 2 Louisa-Muscatine 6, Underwood 1
Hailey Sanders allowed just one hit (a Maddie Pierce home run) while striking out 12 in seven innings to lead Louisa-Muscatine (19-5) past Underwood (14-5).
Sanders was also 2-for-2 with an RBI. Kylee Sanders scored two runs and went 2-for-4. Brynn Jeambey knocked in two runs.
No. 3 Ogden 5, No. 10 Mount Ayr 2
Jenna Palmer's bases-clearing double broke a 2-2 tie in the fourth inning and proved to be the decisive hit for Ogden (20-3) against Mount Ayr (10-5).
Iowa commit Denali Loecker was intentionally walked four times and scored three runs without an official at-bat. She also gave up just one hit, one walk and two runs in seven innings pitched. Ogden survived despite five errors.
CLASS 1A QUARTERFINALS
No. 1 Collins-Maxwell 5, No. 12 Mason City Newman 2
Top-ranked and defending state champion Collins-Maxwell (20-1) got a close game from the No. 8 seed but returned to the semifinals.
The Spartans got on the board right away when Alexis Hogue singled, stole second and third and scored on Mikayla Hogue's sac bunt. C-M added a run on an error in the third and Alexis Hogue singled and scored again on Emma Kahler's base hit in the fourth. Hailey Worman hit a two-run home run for Newman (19-4) in the sixth cut the lead to 3-2 but the Spartans tacked on two runs in the sixth and held on.
No. 4 Lynnville-Sully 9, No. 5 Wayne 4
Lynnville-Sully (19-2) broke open a 3-3 game with six runs in the bottom of the fifth to advance to the Class 1A semifinals.
Two walks and a single loaded the bases and Denali Conover's sac fly gave the Hawks the lead. Janelle Rozendaal followed with an RBI single Korinne Jansen delivered the big blow with a grand slam.
No. 8 Lisbon 3, No. 2 Newell-Fonda 0
Ryleigh Allgood limited Newell-Fonda (18-3) to three hits and no walks in seven shutout innings as Lisbon (21-3) pulled off the quarterfinal upset.
The Lions took the lead in the second when Taylor Techau singled and courtesy runner Gabi Moehlman scored on Kali Nelson's sac fly. They tacked on two more in the seventh as Nelson led off with a single and came home on Mia Peterson's sac fly and Peyton Robinson added an RBI single.

No. 3 Clarksville 7, No. 6 Akron-Westfield 6 (8 innings)
Cheyenne Behrends hit an inside-the-park home run in the eighth inning to send defending state champion Clarksville (17-1) back to the Class 1A semifinals.
Akron-Westfield (18-2) jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning and didn't trail until Clarksville scored three runs in the fifth and went up 6-5 when Kori Wedeking scored on a double steal. The Westerners tied it on an error in the seventh.
