Coe dominated both sides of the ball, scoring at will on offense and stifling Nebraska Wesleyan to the end of a 56-6 American Rivers Conference victory Saturday at Clark Field. Carter Maske passed for 288 yards and four touchdowns in about two quarters of action as the Kohawks (4-0, 2-0) celebrated Homecoming with their seventh straight win over the Prairie Wolves.

Marcus Jackson, who coached Coe College men’s basketball to some brilliant times in the 1970s, died last weekend. Jackson’s 1972-73 Kohawks won 24 straight games and led the nation in scoring.
