A video of the stop showed to the jury showed the man was compliant after stopping, but the ex-trooper had a different perception of the incident.

Testimony started Tuesday for a former Iowa State trooper who is accused of using unreasonable force on a motorcyclist during a 2017 traffic stop. Supervisors testified he didn’t follow policy about using force on a compliant motorist.
