New UnityPoint clinic in Marion to hold open house Wednesday

MARION — The new UnityPoint Tower Terrace Clinic in Marion will host an open house Wednesday in preparation for an Aug. 1 opening, when patients can begin to schedule appointments there.
The open house at Tower Terrace clinic, 3731 Irish Dr. in Marion, will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release. The community may tour the new facility, meet providers and pick up giveaways. A ribbon-cutting will kick off the event at 4 p.m.
The Tower Terrace clinic increases access to primary care in Marion, which UnityPoint Health identified as one of the fastest-growing communities in the metro area, officials said. The clinic is positioned to serve the expanding area and fills a gap in primary care providers in the area, according to UnityPoint Health.

Officials had a groundbreaking May 25 of last year for the clinic.
The family medicine providers at the new clinic include Olivia Rowland, advanced registered nurse practitioner; Cassi Zimmerman, a doctor of nursing practice; and Erica Craw, physician assistant. The pediatric providers are Dr. Dinah Conti and Andrea Childs, a doctor of nursing practice.
The new 11,500-square-foot facility offers family medicine and pediatric services. Patients can be seen for routine visits such as wellness exams and vaccinations as well as for non-emergency, acute illnesses, according to UnityPoint Health.
Patients can begin scheduling appointments Aug. 1 by calling (319) 206-7370. The clinic will be open 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
The Marion clinic is the 17th primary care facility in the UnityPoint Health — Cedar Rapids region.
