A Burlington contractor accused of taking money from four Linn County homeowners for derecho repairs but never finishing the work has agreed to plead guilty to first-degree theft charges, according to Linn County Attorney Nick Maybanks.

Two 13-year-old boys were taken into custody after being found driving a stolen car early Friday on Interstate 380, near Kitty Lee Road SW in Iowa City, according to a news release from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
