An Iowa City man pleaded to second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of his wife, JoEllen Browning, 65, on April 5, 2019. Investigators say they determined his wife was killed because she was going to learn about him draining one of her savings accounts and taking out risky high-interest loans.
