Multiple shots fired in incident which seriously injured a man

Law enforcement agencies across Iowa and across the country have been seeing application numbers decrease for years, and in the last couple of years the change has been even more noticeable.

The Iowa City Police Department has started a surveillance camera registration program, similar to the programs already in use in Cedar Rapids and Marion. Iowa City businesses and residents who have surveillance cameras are invited to register those cameras to help with police investigations, according to a news release from the city.
