An Iowa City teenager was arrested this week on charges he robbed a liquor store at gunpoint last week for vape pens.

Officers responded at 1:04 a.m. Sunday to the Pedestrian Mall after getting reports of shots being fired. They found shell casings and property damage, but no injuries had been reported.

Iowa City businesses and residents who have surveillance cameras are invited to register those cameras to help with police investigations, according to a news release from the city.
