The restaurant and bar, now rebranded as HP Pub & Grub, will reopen Monday, Aug. 29, 2022, at 624 Center Point Rd NE.

Specials this month include the Summertime S’mores latte and the Summertime S’mores dipped waffle cone, part of the camper’s rotating ice cream flavors. Other signatures include the Sweet Honey latte and Ice Cream latte.

The hour expansion is rare at a time when most restaurants are reducing their hours or continuing pandemic hour reductions due to ongoing labor shortages in the industry.

Everbowl, a California-based chain, will open its first location in Cedar Rapids as part of a 10-store deal in Iowa.

The candlelight dinner on the 16th Avenue Bridge of Lions between Czech Village and New Bohemia features options from Amos Deans Catering, Czech Town Station, Lion Bridge Brewing Company and Peppercorn Food Company.
