A Cascade man died in a car crash Friday on Highway 64 near Anamosa.

About 4:19 a.m. Wednesday, deputies and other emergency responders were dispatched to the scene on Monticello Road near Highway 13, a news release stated.

The crash was reported Thursday night in rural Linn County, according to a news release from the Linn County Sheriff’s Office
