Cascade man killed in crash near Anamosa Friday

A Cascade man died in a car crash on Highway 64 near Anamosa, according to a crash report from the Iowa State Patrol.
Donald Leo Supple, 74, was driving a 2014 Chevy Equinox west on Highway 64 on Friday when his vehicle crossed the centerline, colliding with a 2017 Lincoln Navigator driving the other way.
Supple was taken by helicopter to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he died.

The driver of the Lincoln Navigator survived the crash and was taken to a hospital via ambulance.
The report does not state what caused Supple to cross the centerline. The crash remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
