One killed, two injured in semi and car collision on Interstate 80 in Johnson County, Iowa State Patrol says

One person was killed and two were injured Sunday in a crash involving a semi truck and a car on Interstate 80 in eastern Johnson County.
About noon, a 2006 Toyota Prius traveling eastbound in the right lane of Interstate 80 was struck from behind by a 2022 International semi, which was in the same lane, according to a crash report by the Iowa State Patrol.
The crash resulted in one death, one seriously injured and one with minor injuries. Names have not yet been released.
The crash remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
