CLASS 4A CHAMPIONSHIP

No. 2 North Scott 50, No. 1 Marion 49

Brooke Corson's 3-pointer with 39 seconds left gave North Scott (22-3) the lead and its second win over Marion in the Class 4A state final in three years. Riley Wright's shot in the lane at the buzzer didn't fall.

All-tournament captain Grace Boffeli led the Lancers with 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting and eight rebounds.

Kayba Laube finished with 18 points to lead Marion (23-2).

CLASS 2A CHAMPIONSHIP

No. 3 Treynor 48, No. 1 Grundy Center 30

Konnor Sudmann had 17 points on 5-for-8 shooting and six assists to lead the Cardinals (26-1) to the state title.

Grundy Center (24-1) shot just 28.6 percent, including 2 of 17 from 3-point range. Kyle Willis led the Spartans with eight points.

CLASS 1A CHAMPIONSHIP

No. 1 Newell-Fonda 76, No. 2 West Hancock 52

Newell-Fonda raced to a 24-14 lead after one quarter and 44-31 halftime advantage en route to a perfect 27-0 season and state championship.

Megan Morenz led the Mustangs with 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting. Olivia Larsen added 17 points, Macy Sievers 13.

Rachel Leerar led West Hancock (25-2) with 22 points.
