“The patterns created by the shadows and the opportunity to play with perspective combined with this fallen tree and a mix of animal tracks reminded me of M.C. Escher’s woodcut ‘Puddle.’ This photo is my own modern take on that idea, using a drone instead of chisel, wood and ink.”
