The setting sun was too good to pass up for Gazette photojournalist Nick Rohlman after a day of making photos at the Iowa Capitol in Des Moines.

Temperatures in parts of Eastern Iowa topped out at 60 degrees Friday, and strong winds gusted over 40 mph.
