Girls’ track & field 2022: Top area teams and individuals

The Iowa Print Sports Writers Association has announced its 2022 all-state boys’ basketball teams, with North Linn’s Austin Hilmer joining Monticello’s Tate Petersen, Springville’s Rhenden Wagaman, English Valleys’ Kaden Hall, Marion’s Brayson Laube and Cedar Rapids Kennedy’s Kenzie Hall on first teams.

Despite going scoreless in the third quarter, Monticello’s boys’ basketball team rallied in the fourth to beat Mid-Prairie, 46-43, in a Class 2A state tournament quarterfinal Tuesday morning.
