A Mount Vernon man was arrested this weekend on charges that he locked a woman in her own home at knife point and attempted to sexually assault her.

Lily Rose Lee, formerly known as Michelle Knight, will be speaking at an event in Cedar Rapids meant to raise awareness and support for survivors of sexual assault. A Gazette reporter recently spoke with Lee about the upcoming event and her life as a kidnapping survivor.
