Top-ranked Springville didn’t commit an attack error until its 39th swing of the match, hit an astronomical .510 through the first two sets and swept Oakland Riverside (25-8, 25-8, 25-17) in a 52-minute Class 1A quarterfinal at the state volleyball tournament Tuesday evening at Xtream Arena.

Freshman Bailey Boeve ripped off 22 kills, and fourth-ranked Hinton christened its first state volleyball trip in nine years with a four-set victory (25-20, 25-22, 18-25, 25-13) over No. 5 Denver in a in a Class 2A quarterfinal Tuesday afternoon at Xtream Arena.

Error-plagued early, top-ranked Iowa City Liberty got it in gear in the final three sets and topped No. 11 Urbandale, 22-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-17 in a Class 5A quarterfinal at the state volleyball tournament Monday afternoon at Xtream Arena.
