Here is an updated look at upcoming Iowa high school boys’ basketball postseason games in all classes. There are Class 2A and 1A substate finals Saturday, Class 3A substate finals Monday.

Alburnett Coach Clayton Rush knew exactly how long it had been since his team wrestled for a State Duals title. The wait ended. The Pirates beat Nashua-Plainfield to reach the Class 1A State Duals finals for the first time since 2016.

It is the first year the IHSAA is classifying schools by a combination of enrollment and percentage of free and reduced lunch students. Cedar Rapids Washington will bump from Class 4A to 5A in the new two-year cycle. Williamsburg will go from 2A to 3A.
