Cedar Rapids man charged in Coralville stun gun attack

CORALVILLE — A Cedar Rapids man has been charged with first-degree burglary after being accused of attacking a woman with a stun gun.
Coralville police said Derek Moulds, 29, entered a residence on Second Street in Coralville on Tuesday morning without permission.
Moulds threatened a woman by sparking his electronic stun gun while confronting her, according to police reports.
Police said Moulds used the stun gun on the woman when she defended herself. The woman had bruising on her left arm as a result.
First-degree burglary is a Class B felony, punishable by up to 25 years in prison.
