The 2021 Iowa high school state baseball tournament is this week in Carroll (1A, 2A) and Iowa City (3A, 4A).

No. 2-seed Cedar Rapids Xavier defeated No. 7-seed MOC-Floyd Valley 18-3 in the Class 3A quarterfinals in Iowa City.

Xavier scored 13 runs in a monstrous third inning en route to an 18-3, four-inning romp past MOC-Floyd Valley.
