A dozen Gazette-area high school volleyball players to watch in 2024, led by reigning Class 3A state player of the year Chloe Meester of Mount Vernon.

Cedar Rapids Xavier (Class 4A) and Mount Vernon (3A) are ranked No. 1 in their respective volleyball classes by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
