Make your own glam photobooth background for New Year's Eve

Typical New Year's Eve parties are canceled.
But the night-in doesn't have to be boring. And the end of 2020, especially, deserves a celebration.
Why not mark the end of 2020 with a snazzy photo shoot, set against your own homemade backdrop? Going out might be canceled this year, but that doesn't mean you can't look as glamorous as ever — even if it's just for a party in your living room.
Just one or two of the materials below would make for a gorgeous photo background, so if you don't have everything, don't worry. Use what you have.
What you need:
• Wrapping paper
• A fringe curtain (Available at Target or on Amazon)
• Streamers
• Balloons
• Tape
• A stepping stool (or a sturdy chair)
• A camera or cellphone
1. Standing on a stepstool, unroll wrapping paper until the roll reaches the floor. Tape the end to the wall. You can cut the big piece of paper now hanging against your wall, or just leave it attached to the roll.
2. Stick a fringe curtain on the same wall so it layers over the wrapping paper.
3. Tape long pieces of streamer to the ceiling, creating a third layer to the background.
4. Blow up a few balloons, and tape them to the wrapping paper. You can cluster them in the corner, hang them in rows, whatever you think looks best.
5. Get ready for your own personal photo shoot! Ask a family member to be your photographer, or use the self-timer function to do your shoot solo. Invite your family (and pets) to join you and ring in 2021 in style.
