Dance teams from Cedar Rapids Jefferson, Cedar Rapids Kennedy, Cedar Rapids Prairie and Linn-Mar competed in Jazz Class VII on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at the Iowa State Dance and Drill Team Association state championships in Des Moines.

Linn-Mar captured the second-place trophy behind champion Southeast Polk in the event at Casey’s Center (formerly Wells Fargo Arena). Linn-Mar had the third-highest score (379) in all seven classes combined. Only Southeast Polk (382.5 out of 400) and Class VI champion Norwalk (380) scored more. (Each class had a different four-judge panel.)

Prairie and Kennedy finished fifth and sixth, respectively. The top four teams received trophies in the nine-team competition.
