Waterloo man accused of sending obscene materials to 14-year-old

CEDAR FALLS - A Waterloo man is accused of sending a photo of his genitals to a 14-year-old girl.
According to the Cedar Falls Police Department, 22-year-old Michael V. Bohle met the victim on social media in June through a mutual friend. Police said Bohle knew the girl was 14. During their correspondence, Bohle allegedly sent the girl a photo of his genitals.
The victim and her parents contacted police. Bohle was arrested on Friday and faces one count of dissemination of obscene materials to a minor, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by up to two years in jail.
