Two men shot in Iowa City on Wednesday

IOWA CITY — Two men shot in Iowa City on Wednesday afternoon suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and police are asking the public’s help in identifying the shooters.
Iowa City police officers were called to the 900 block of Cross Park Avenue in southeast Iowa City for a report of gunshots, where they found the two injured men.
The men were taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and are not cooperating with the investigation, police said.
Witnesses told police they saw two men fleeing from the area after the shots were fired. Those men have not been identified.
Anyone with information — including security camera footage — is asked to contact the police department at (319) 356-5275. Iowa City Area Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
