NORTH LIBERTY - Two people were injured in a motorcycle-car collision in North Liberty on June 29.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, 36-year-old Garry J. Gahl was northbound on his motorcycle on Highway 965 around 7:56 p.m. when he ran a stop light at the Cherry Street intersection and collided with a westbound Honda Accord driven by 29-year-old Alyson P. Robinett.
Authorities said Gahl 'vaulted” onto a Kia Sorento driven by 51-year-old Carlene Higgins that was stopped and then landed on the pavement.
Both Gahl and Robinett were taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for unspecified injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
