Two injured in crash near Springville

SPRINGVILLE - Two people were injured in a crash near Springville Friday morning, police report.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, 32-year-old Maggie M. Carlson, of Morley, was northbound on Springville Road at 7:32 a.m. Friday when she ran a stop sign at Highway 151. At that same time, Lori A. Kilburg, of Bellevue, was westbound on Highway 151. The two vehicles collided.
Carlson was taken via helicopter to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Kilburg was taken to St. Luke's via ambulance.
The crash remains under investigation.
