Toddville man faces life-threatening injuries after Highway 151 crash

MARION - A Toddville man suffered life-threatening injuries after a single vehicle crash Monday night, police said.
According to the Linn County Sheriff's Office, around 9:04 p.m. Monday, deputies, Linn County Sheriff's Rescue, the Marion police and fire departments and Area Ambulance responded to a report of a vehicle leaving the road and going into the ditch on Highway 151 southbound at the 34 mile marker. First responders discovered a blue Chevrolet van had rolled through the ditch and came to rest in a bean field.
The driver of the van, 26-year-old Casey Leonard, was the only occupant. He was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff's office.
