SPRINGVILLE - Two Cedar Rapids men and a Cedar Rapids teen face burglary charges for a break-in and assault in Springville.
According to Linn County Attorney's Office criminal complaints, officers were called to a Springville residence on April 24. There, authorities learned the resident had been asleep downstairs and confronted the suspects who broke into his home. The men then took property from the residence and fled in a red Chevrolet.
The Chevy, driven by 22-year-old Daniel L. Rodenhi, was located and stopped. Also in the vehicle were 18-year-old Dakota S. Gaines and 17-year-old Dallas J. Seiler. The victim identified Seiler and Gaines as his attackers, authorities said. Rodenhi is accused of aiding and abetting in the break-in and assault.
All three men have been arrested and face one count of first-degree burglary. A mug shot of Seiler is not available because he is a juvenile.
