CEDAR RAPIDS - Two Cedar Rapids men and a Palo teen are accused of conspiring with others to trick a man into showing up to a robbery.
According to the Linn County Attorney's Office, Lapriest S. Green, 20; Lamont D. Frazier, 20, and 17-year-old Breeanna L. Lietz hatched a robbery plan with one other suspect. Authorities said the plot involved Lietz talking a man into meeting somewhere in order to exchange money for sex through an app called Meet Me.
When the man showed up at the prearranged location, Lietz signaled the three other suspects - including Green and Frazier - to rob the man while armed with baseball bats, authorities said. One of the victims told police the suspects robbed him of cash, followed him to an ATM and made him take out more cash.
One of the robberies occurred on Feb. 6 at the apartment complex at 2060 Glass Road NE where Frazier and Green resided, court documents state.
Green, Frazier and Lietz have all been charged with first-degree robbery, a Class B felony; and conspiracy to commit a forcible felony; a Class C felony.
