Suspicious, unattended Cedar Rapids death still under investigation

CEDAR RAPIDS - The unattended death of a homeless man remains under investigation.
Police responded to the parking lot of the First Presyterian Church, 310 Fifth St. SE, around 7:30 a.m. Sept. 5 when the body of 56-year-old Raymond S. Ursino was discovered there. Police have not yet released a cause and manner of death.
On Wednesday, public safety spokesman Greg Buelow said investigators have reviewed surveillance videos from the area where Ursino's body was found and are gathering other evidence. They are also waiting on information from the medical examiner's office, Buelow said.
The death is being treated as suspicious.
