Sex offender arrested for indecent exposure

CEDAR FALLS - A registered sex offender has been arrested for allegedly exposing himself to a woman in May.
According to the Cedar Falls Police Department, on May 21, a woman reported that a man in a vehicle had approached her while she was walking near West 26th and Olive streets. Police said the man pulled up his car to the woman and exposed himself to her. The woman recorded the man's license plate number and immediately contacted police.
In late July, police obtained an arrest warrant for 28-year-old William T. Wright of Waterloo. Wright, a registered sex offender previously convicted of indecent exposure, was arrested on Aug. 3 on one count of indecent exposure.
