Second man arrested in Swisher false imprisonment case

SWISHER - A second Iowa City man is in custody for allegedly holding a woman against her will and driving her car without her permission.
According to Johnson County Sheriff's Office criminal complaints, 21-year-old Dimione J. Walker faces charges of false imprisonment, operating a motor vehicle without the owner's consent and simple assault.
Around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, the victim agreed to give Walker and 21-year-old Shatani D. Buck a ride as far as Swisher from Cedar Rapids, police said. According to the complaints against Walker, when they got to the Swisher exit, Walker threw the car into park and took the keys out of the ignition.
Buck and Walker are accused of then pushing the victim out of the driver's seat and pushing her into the back seat of the vehicle. Police said Buck grabbed the woman's wrists, squeezed them and pushed her. The men allegedly told the woman she would either get in the back seat of the vehicle or they would leave her there. When the woman still refused to get in the car, they forced her into the vehicle.
The woman suffered pain and suffered a scratch when she hit the ground.
With the woman in the back seat, Walker took her vehicle without her permission, according to the sheriff's office.
Buck was arrested earlier this week and faces charges of false imprisonment and simple assault.
