CEDAR RAPIDS - A second man has been arrested in a Dec. 29 break-in and robbery.
According to a Linn County Attorney's Office criminal complaint, 46-year-old Daniel E. Ray has been charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree robbery and false imprisonment. Previously arrested in the case was 46-year-old Ernest Callaway. He faces the same charges as Ray.
Police said Callaway and Ray entered a residence on A Avenue NW on Dec. 29. The two men then proceeded to tie the occupant up with duct tape, place a blanket over his head and rob him of some of his property and truck, according to the criminal complaints.
Callaway's fingerprint was found on the duct tape, according to authorities.
