Police: Woman claiming to be NYPD officer stole electronics from cab

CEDAR RAPIDS - A woman faces charges after stealing property from a cab while claiming to be an undercover police officer.
According to Cedar Rapids public safety spokesman Greg Buelow, officers responded to the 200 block of Third Avenue SE around 3:45 p.m. Sunday after a cabdriver reported property missing. After an investigation, police determined 39-year-old Christina Horn, no address, stole an iPod and iPad mini from the cab while claiming to be an undercover New York City police officer.
Horn was arrested and faces charges of third-degree burglary and impersonating a public official.
