Police say Cedar Rapids man stole hoverboards

CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids man is accused of stealing five hoverboards.
According to the Linn County Attorney's Office, police were called to the Magic Carpet kiosk at the Lindale Mall on Dec. 19 after 22-year-old Dushaun X. Scott took five hoverboards and ran out of the mall without paying for them. The hoverboards are valued at $550 each, authorities said.
Scott was arrested and faces one count of second-degree theft.
