Police investigate report of shots fired in Iowa City

IOWA CITY - Iowa City police responded to a report of shots fired Saturday night.
Officers were called to the area of Taylor and Hollywood drives in southern Iowa City just before 9 p.m. after being notified of several gunshots in the area. Responding officers found a vehicle in the area that had been shot multiple times, police said.
There were no reports of injuries.
Witnesses said two men were seen running from the area after the shots were fired, according to police. One was wearing a dark jacket and the other was wearing tan pants, police said.
Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of these suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at (319) 358-8477.
