Police investigate Iowa City restaurant robbery that left one injured

IOWA CITY - Iowa City police are investigating a robbery they say happened at a restaurant early Saturday.
According to a news release, officers were called to Falbo's Pizza, 457 S. Gilbert St., around 3 a.m. for a report of a fight in progress. There, officers found an injured man.
The man told police he was inside Falbo's and was putting some money in his pocket when another man grabbed some of the cash. Police said the men went outside and when the victim said he was going to call the police, he was punched.
Police said two suspects fled the scene and were not found by police. The suspects were described as being of average height and with athletic builds. One of the men had shoulder length dreadlocks and the other had a buzz cut, police said. One of the men was wearing a red jacket.
The victim required treatment at the hospital for his injuries, police said.
