CEDAR RAPIDS - Police have identified the man killed in a Tuesday morning crash on Blairs Ferry Road NE in Cedar Rapids.
Cedar Rapids public safety spokesman Greg Buelow said John Secl, 67, of Cedar Rapids, was killed when the Ford C-Max he was driving collided head-on with a Dodge truck around 8:32 a.m.
Injured in the crash was Gloria Secl, 67, of Cedar Rapids, who was a passenger in the Ford, and Daniel Derhammer, 46, of Cedar Rapids, who was driving the Dodge.
Buelow said the Ford was eastbound on Blairs Ferry Road at the same time the Dodge was westbound. He said the Dodge truck crossed the centerline for reasons that are not yet known and the vehicles collided.
