Police: Cedar Rapids man assaulted another man, stole truck

CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids man is accused of assaulting a man and stealing his truck.
According to the Linn County Attorney's Office, on Jan. 9, 22-year-old Austin R. Wiesenhofer assaulted a man in Beverly Park and knocked him out. Cedar Rapids police said Wiesenhofer and another person then stole the man's truck and fled.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office found Wiesenhofer with the stolen truck in Walford, authorities said.
Wiesenhofer was arrested and has been charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree theft.
