North Liberty man accused of abusing young girl

NORTH LIBERTY - A North Liberty man is accused of sexually abusing a girl under the age of 12 at least twice.
North Liberty police said 38-year-old Jaime E. Restrepo-Vasquez, who lives in the 700 block of Prairie Ridge Road, committed a sex act on the girl twice last month. Both instances involved Restrepo-Vasquez inappropriately touching the girl underneath her clothing, police said.
Restrepo-Vasquez has been arrested and faces two counts of third-degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
