Men arrested in connection with Cedar Rapids armed robbery

CEDAR RAPIDS - A Cedar Rapids man and Minnesota man are accused of robbing two men at gunpoint.
According to Linn County attorney's Office criminal complaints, 24-year-old Patrick D.E. Nunn, of Cedar Rapids, and 56-year-old Ricky L. Paynes, of Anoka, Minn. robbed two men of $700 and $900 on Aug. 28. The robbery occurred in the 900 block of 28th Street SE, authorities said.
The men were armed with a handgun, police said.
Nunn and Paynes both face two counts of first-degree robbery, a Class B felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison.
