Marion police say juvenile shot during robbery at mobile home park

MARION - Marion police are investigating an early morning robbery that left a 16-year-old with a gunshot wound to his hand.
Marion police and fire, as well as Area Ambulance, responded to 1293 Elizabeth Drive, in the Squaw Creek Mobile Home Park, at 1:50 a.m. Thursday for a report a juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound to his hand. Police said the juvenile had been shot by a black man during a robbery at the residence.
The suspect and another man fled from the residence before officers arrived.
The juvenile was treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said. The incident remains under investigation.
