CEDAR RAPIDS - A man wanted by authorities on child sex abuse allegations surrendered about 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Linn County Jail, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
The Marshals Service said Nathan Nosley, 25, whose last known address was in Marion, was wanted by the city's police department after he was accused of sexually abusing a minor. He faces one count of second-degree sexual abuse.
According to a Linn County Attorney's Office criminal complaint filed June 5, Nosley committed sex acts on a 7-year-old girl.
Federal marshals earlier Tuesday asked for the public's help in trying to locate the fugitive, who they said is also is known to use several aliases, including Nathan Nauzley and Nathan Notter.
