Man accused of indecent exposure, assault at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics

IOWA CITY - A Hazelton man faces assault and indecent exposure charges after an incident last year at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
According to University of Iowa of Police criminal complaints, on Aug. 10, 2016, Daniel C. Britton, 70, was at the UIHC when he allegedly grabbed a woman and told her to 'take her clothes off.” Britton also made other sexual remarks and touched himself in front of the woman, police said.
Britton was given both trespass and harassment warnings after the incident, police said. Indecent exposure is a serious misdemeanor and assault is a simple misdemeanor.
