LONE TREE – A Lone Tree man is accused of inappropriately touching a boy.
According to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, on June 9, deputies took a report of possible child abuse occurring at the home of 27-year-old Daniel E. Jones. Authorities said an investigation showed that around 11 p.m. on June 7, Jones 'engaged in indecent contact' with the boy.
Jones admitted to 'tickling' the boy and 'accidentally' touching him in inappropriate areas, the sheriff's office said. However, a criminal complaint states Jones touched the boy to 'satisfy his own sexual desires.'
Jones was arrested and faces one count of indecent contact with a child, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by up to two years in prison.
