Linn County Sheriff’s Office to host orientation sessions for applicants

LINN COUNTY - The Linn County Sheriff's Office will host two orientation sessions for deputy sheriff applicants.
The sessions will provide potential applicants with an overview of the sheriff's office, as well as career advancement opportunities. The sessions will take place on May 9 at 10 a.m. and May 13 at 6 p.m. Both sessions will be hosted at the Linn County Sheriff's Office, 310 Second Ave. SW in Cedar Rapids.
The sheriff's office is accepting deputy sheriff applications through June 3. The physical fitness test and written exam will take place on June 20 at 8 a.m. at Linn-Mar High School.
