Lansing man dies after Sunday night crash

ALLAMAKEE COUNTY - A Lansing man died after a crash late Sunday night.
According to the Allamakee County Sheriff's Office, 59-year-old Gerry L. Martin, Jr. was southbound on Columbus Road in rural Allamakee County around 11:12 p.m. when he lost control on a curve in the road. As a result, Martin's vehicle went into the ditch and hit a tree.
Martin was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to the sheriff's office.
