Iowa Medical and Classification Center inmate dies of natural causes

CORALVILLE - An inmate at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center died of natural causes Wednesday morning.
According to the Iowa Department of Corrections, Robert J. Robinson died at 1:12 a.m. in a hospice room at the center, 2700 Coral Ridge Ave., Coralville, where he had been housed due to a chronic illness.
Robinson was serving a life sentence that began in July 1999 for first-degree murder out of Clinton County.
